The Task Troopers Pledge

At Task Troopers, we believe every student deserves the tools to succeed, regardless of what they can afford. Through our Free Laptop Program, we pledge to:

Serve every eligible student with dignity. We will never make a student or family feel less than for needing help. Asking for a laptop should feel like asking for a library book, simple, respectful, and free of judgment.

Protect the privacy of every family we serve. We will handle every application, every piece of personal information, and every child's data with the same care we'd want for our own families, and we will never compromise on that standard.

Show up for South Florida. From Miami-Dade to Broward to Palm Beach, we pledge to keep reaching students across our community, not just the ones easiest to find.

Be honest about what we can and can't do. If we can't help right away, we'll say so. If a decision takes time, we'll tell you why. We won't overpromise to make ourselves look good.

Keep showing up, year after year. A laptop delivered once doesn't close the digital divide. We pledge to keep this program running, growing, and improving for as long as students need it.

Remember why we started. Task Troopers exists because a computer shouldn't be the reason a student falls behind. We pledge to never lose sight of that, no matter how big this organization gets.
